Dream Interpretation Please?

When I was younger i had a strange dream. I was walking along a road near my house with my older brother. He had a ring on his finger, and I tried to pull it off. The top half of his finger came off and his finger was full of maggot like things, and then I woke up. What did this mean? Was it just random thoughts or a reflection of my subconscious?
