Help with simple javascript?

i am trying to make a very simple, plain javascript web page that must include Decisions, Repetition, User defined methods or functions, Events, Variables, and Lists/Arrays. I cant come up with any good ideas, i am less then comfortable with javascript so the simpler the better.
