This guy keeps asking me..?

This guy I have been eyeing/ pursuing off and on for a long time finally decided he would date me but he picks on me and sometimes teases me about the way I feel such as when I say something like "Text me later if you want" he comes back with "Why? You miss me?" and things like that. If I say yeah he says "Awww" and teases me about it being gay or whatever.. He never says these things back unless I pull it out of him. For instance once I asked if I could come over and visit on the day he was off work and he said "yeah sure" and we texted for a little bit. Then I sent him "You miss me?" and he said "U miss me!" and I told him "What is this? YOu can't tell me you miss me??" and he said "Yeah I miss you." Something about it is wierd to me. I feel like he is so closed off emotionally and I'm not getting much from him in the way of words.. He is usually always so nice to me, though but our relationship is ual too.. I'm just not sure what this is.. Anyone got any insights? Does he really like me and should I stop telling him how I feel even when he asks?? Sometimes I just say yeah because I think he wants me to.. He sends me texts at least every other day and I am not clingy at all.. I do entertain his texts though, and I love to see him!
