My dad and i have never gotten along?

But recently we got into a huge fight and my stepmom and him started saying stuff about my mom thatwas really mean. He then proceeded to tell me and my brother that if we didnt want to come over anymore, that we didnt have to. So i Decided from now on id just stay at my moms house. Hpwever, I really miss my half sister and mi dad has been sending me emails and leaving me messages on my phone saying he misses me and he loves me. But i dont know if he means it or not and i dont know what to do any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated
