How to best promote a web design and SEO blog?

I have found a href="http://answers.yahoo.com"http://answers.yahoo.com/a to be a good place to start generating traffic to my new web pages. I usually go on here and leave links to my new sites and google will rank my page higher in searches. That is my main source of web traffic.
