I am being sued by a creditor... what to expect in court?

If you've been paying as agreed in the settlement with the creditor, then the judge will most likely keep things the way they are. He's gonna say keep paying on a weekly/monthly basis and that should be it. That was pretty sneaky of them to tell you that, most of the time, yeah if u don't show up the judge sides with them. Do go to court, you don't want the company saying now they want treble damages, or all kinds of other stuff, so make sure you show up. Ask the company why haven't they dismissed their claim since you already made an agreement.
