My Cactus has a disease and died , can u help identify the disease?

The cactus started to have a black hole on its body and then after a few days the cactus literally deflated( meaning the insides of the cactus is gone ) . I guess it would be some kind of virus/illness , i do hope someone would tell me what type of disease it is facing. Thanks in advance
