Breakthrough bleeding?

I missed three BC pills and have been bleeding for 1 day now. Im suppost to start my period in a week and 1 day. I know it probably varys from woman to woman but does anyone know about how long i will bleed? I started taking my pill again today. Will I still have my period in a week from now? What do ya think?
