Think its a good reply!!!?

I really like this girl but she has a boyfriend, well we talk to each other on myspace alot. I told her about how I was hanging with my friend and his girlfriend, and about how I hate feeling like a third wheel, well she her reply was awww at least you had fun, then I reply "well it would be nice to at least have someone to hold on to" do you think I should'nt have said that, I mean does that make me seem desperate, and if so what should I reply back the next time she messeges me??? Sorry if this sounds stupid but its important to me.
